Overview

A&W is seeking an experienced Administrative Receptionist for our Ft. Lupton location.

 

This individual will be the the first point-of-contact for all incoming traffic.

 

POSITION SUMMARY

Under general supervision of the Department Manager, the Administrative Assistant performs a wide range of administrative and office support activities in order to facilitate the efficient operation of the department or yard.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES (essential functions of the job)

  • Performs a wide variety of basic, repetitive, and routine office support and reception duties.
  • Assists in telephone reception for administrative departments using a business telephone system.
  • Greets the public and refers visitors to appropriate personnel.
  • Processes and mails outgoing correspondence; receive, sort, and distribute incoming correspondence.
  • Manages calendars.
  • Provides filing assistance.
  • Prepares and maintains Administrative Assistant procedures.
  • Schedules and facilitates meetings.
  • Operates a personal computer or computer terminal to generate reports, graphs, lists, or other information.
  • Drafts routine office documents such as letters, memos, reports, and presentations as needed.
  • Assists in maintaining office equipment and maintains and order office supplies.
  • Advises supervisor of any issues to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Runs errands (post office, office supplies, etc.)
  • Other duties as assigned.

Punctuality, attendance and professionalism is an absolute must! High proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook is needed.

 

This person will be responsible for answering and directing all incoming calls, sorting mail for distribution and handling all outgoing parcels. Data entry, and other duties as assigned.

 

At least 3-5 years of administrative experience is preferable.

Valid Driver’s License with acceptable MVR which meets approved driver’s written criteria preferred.

Must successfully pass pre-employment screenings.
